第二”的英文翻譯是：second，一般它是一個(gè)序數詞，但second作名詞時(shí)還有另外一個(gè)意思是“秒”，一秒兩秒可以簡(jiǎn)寫(xiě)成1s，2s，這里的“s”就是second的簡(jiǎn)寫(xiě)。
second 有形容詞性，意思為“第二的，次要的”；也有副詞性，意思為“第二，其次”。有時(shí)為了不讓second有歧義，如果second在句子開(kāi)頭，一般使用“secondly”表示副詞形式的`“其次”，如果second在句子中，則使用“the second”來(lái)表示“第二”這個(gè)序數詞。

一、second是一個(gè)序數詞，序數詞的具體用法如下：
1、用來(lái)表示時(shí)間
eg：2008年2月28日可以表示為February 28th, 2007
2、用來(lái)表示順序

3、用來(lái)表示樓層
