英語(yǔ)讀書(shū)演講1
一、 活動(dòng)背景
隨著(zhù)時(shí)代的發(fā)展,民族逐漸融合,“地球村”也越來(lái)越小.如何使中國與國際社會(huì )進(jìn)行更好的交流,促進(jìn)彼此的發(fā)展,是當代中國大學(xué)生不可推卸的責任。而英語(yǔ)作為世界上使用最廣泛的語(yǔ)言，在國際的交流中自然起著(zhù)至關(guān)重要的作用。所以，英語(yǔ)水平已成為衡量當代大學(xué)生素質(zhì)的基本標準之一。因此，本著(zhù)“全院參與，辦出特色，發(fā)現人才，培養學(xué)習興趣”的宗旨，英語(yǔ)讀書(shū)社舉辦一次面向全校各級的英語(yǔ)演講比賽，以提高同學(xué)們的英語(yǔ)口語(yǔ)水平，提供一個(gè)可以展現自我，激勵他人的舞臺，并且加強在校大學(xué)生的`競爭意識。
二、活動(dòng)主題
“讀書(shū)改變人生，學(xué)習成就未來(lái)”（Reading changes life, learning shapes future）
三、活動(dòng)目的
為了給每位喜愛(ài)英語(yǔ)的同學(xué)提供一個(gè)展現自我的平臺，豐富大家的第二課堂生活并配合學(xué)院關(guān)于第三屆讀書(shū)節活動(dòng)的實(shí)施，同時(shí)充分挖掘個(gè)人的潛能，增強同學(xué)們的競爭意識，提高綜合能力，英語(yǔ)讀書(shū)社及外語(yǔ)系團總支特此舉行以“讀書(shū)改變人生，學(xué)習成就未來(lái)"（Reading changes life, learning shapes future）為主題的演講比賽，相信本次活動(dòng)能給大家帶來(lái)意外的收獲并能夠終生受用。

5、自備服裝和自己所需要的工具。

when i'm free or in trouble, i always take out a book and read quietly. in no time, i've put my heart into it so that i'll forget all the troubles. it's in this way that i've formed the habit of reading in any time.
little boys as i was, i was interest in picture books and storybooks. i was struck by them. no sooner had i entered the middle school than i began to read novel, plays, essays and so on. i found i could get much from them. little by little i took great interest in literature and last term i won the first prize in the composition contest among middle-school students in zhe jiang.
reading “the emperor's new clothes”, i had to let out a burst of laughter over his fool. “the little match girl” couldn't keep me from crying for her misery. “ robinson crusoe” took me into a strange world full of danger. and i was also deeply impressed by helen keller's patience and perseverance… besides these, books also tell me other thing -how to be a man and how to tell the difference between right and wrong. in a word, good books can make me know what i didn't before. so i think of a good book as my best friend.
i'll never forget this famous saying,“ good books are best friends who never turn their backs upon us.”
have you ever learned english by watching english dvd movies? is that an effective english learning method for you? why?
watching english dvd movies is a very effective method of learning english. i learnt english at college at home. as a natural result of insufficient english speaking environment, my speaking and listening abilities were not developed satisfactorily, although my reading and writing abilities were quite all right. i remember my experience during a summer vacation when i made plans to watch 10 original english movies (i mean those not dubbed.) including the classic casablanca, rebecca, a tale of two cities, and little women.
i persistently carried out my plan and each of the films i watched a dozen times until i could recite most of the dialogues. at the end of that summer vacation, i found i became nearly as fluent as a native english speaker.
the ways of reading
we may obtain knowledge by reading. the more books we read, the more we accumulate the knowledge. is it right? i don’t think so. it’s not wide reading but useful reading that leads to excellence. and only good books can benefit us.
so choosing books is very important for reading. many students spend a lot of time reading legends and swordsman novels. it’s a waste of time. some students even read some bad books and it is harmful for them.
so be as careful of the books we read, as of the company we keep, for our habit and character will be as much influenced by the former as by the latter.

Some people say that reading is not good. Reading is a kind of burden, reading is locked in a tight without ventilation cages, reading as if to accept the devil training, you were dead, reading is very painful, it is the people on the lethal poison. This is just the illiterate, but I think the benefits of reading. I think the book is the ladder of human progress, is the human silent teacher, books are our friends, the book is nutrition of pills, books are food for the soul, the book let us into a heaven, there is a heaven. Reading is a kind of beautiful enjoyment. Reading, let you like into the wonderland, let your life more colorful childhood reading, cultivate your sentiments, relieve fatigue, you forget your trouble, reading is colorful sauces. Rather than call me elapsed time in playing, call me to book the ocean.
When I don't understand, I saw a book like hell, but as time goes by, I grow up, I know what is the real enjoyment, I learned to enjoy the pleasure of reading.

Learning english can be a very difficult task for most people, this is because we dont live in a environment where we are forced to speak or write english. so i think the best way to learn english is by communicating with others using the lagnguage itself and not just learn from the book. Im sure if you live in an environment such as a foreign country and were forced to speak and write english everyday then your english will imprve dramatically.
Although we must agree that we need to read and write english from the book in order to get the foundations that we need for basic communication, this is essential but as i said, this is only a foundation, what you develop afterwards all depends on your ability to adapt to an environment and your courage.
對大多數人來(lái)說(shuō)，學(xué)習英語(yǔ)是一項非常困難的任務(wù)，這是因為我們不生活在被迫說(shuō)或寫(xiě)英語(yǔ)的環(huán)境中。所以我認為學(xué)習英語(yǔ)最好的方法是通過(guò)使用語(yǔ)言本身而不是別人交流從書(shū)中學(xué)習。我相信如果你生活在一個(gè)環(huán)境如國外，被迫說(shuō)，寫(xiě)英語(yǔ)你的英語(yǔ)將成績(jì)顯著(zhù)。

In other words, they are our good teachers and wise friends. This is the reason why our parents always encourage us to read more books.
Reading is a good thing, but we must pay great attention to the choice of books. It is true that we can derive benefits from good books. However, bad books will do us more harm than good.

Yes, books can cultivate people's sentiment, it can make us relax and breathe the fresh air. I think, love is never wrong, books can make us get rid of a lot of bad habits. It's good to read! Reading makes I aspire to be a useful person to society, I want to be like the beloved premier zhou "reading for the rise of the Chinese," we only have small to read and study hard, to master the knowledge, grow up, can we use our talents to serve human, repay our dear motherland.
