2016年中秋高速公路不免費通行
根據《重大節假日免收小型客車(chē)通行費實(shí)施方案》，免費通行時(shí)間為春節、清明節、勞動(dòng)節、國慶節四個(gè)國家法定節假日以及當年國務(wù)院辦公廳文件確定的上述法定節假日連休日。根據這一規定，中秋節并不在高速公路免費通行的節假日范圍內，但屆時(shí)高速上的車(chē)流量將會(huì )增加，廣大市民可以選擇錯峰出行。

中秋節，又稱(chēng)月夕、秋節、仲秋節、八月節、八月會(huì )、追月節、玩月節、拜月節、女兒節或團圓節，是流行于中國眾多民族與漢字文化圈諸國的傳統文化節日，時(shí)在農歷八月十五;因其恰值三秋之半，故名，也有些地方將中秋節定在八月十六。
中秋節始于唐朝初年，盛行于宋朝，至明清時(shí)，已成為與春節齊名的中國主要節日之一。受中華文化的影響，中秋節也是東亞和東南亞一些國家尤其是當地的華人華僑的傳統節日。自2008年起中秋節被列為國家法定節假日。2006年5月20日，國務(wù)院列入首批國家級非物質(zhì)文化遺產(chǎn)名錄。
中秋節自古便有祭月、賞月、拜月、吃月餅、賞桂花、飲桂花酒、等習俗，流傳至今，經(jīng)久不息。中秋節以月之圓兆人之團圓，為寄托思念故鄉，思念親人之情，祈盼豐收、幸福，成為豐富多彩、彌足珍貴的文化遺產(chǎn)。中秋節與端午節、春節、清明節并稱(chēng)為中國四大傳統節日。

The Mid-Autumn Festival
The Mid-Autumn Festival falls on the 15th day of the8th lunar month, when the moon is the fullest andbrightest of the whole year. This festival has a verylong history. In ancient China, emperors followed thetradition of offering sacrifices to the sun in spring and to the moon in autumn. By the TangDynasty, the Mid-Autumn Festival had been fixed as a holiday, which became even grander inthe Song Dynasty. In the Ming and Qing dynasties, it grew to be a major festival of Chinatogether with the Spring Festival, the Qingming Festival and Dragon Boat Festival. On this day,people enjoy the full, bright moon, worship it and express their thoughts and feelings in themoonlight.
中秋節
每年的農歷八月十五為中秋節，是月亮在一年中最圓、最亮的一天。中秋節的歷史非常悠久。自古以來(lái)，歷代皇帝都遵循著(zhù)春季祭日、秋季祭月的傳統。到唐代，中秋節開(kāi)始作為固定節日;宋朝時(shí)，這一節日更為盛行。至明清，中秋節已成為一個(gè)與春節、清明節和端午節并列的重大節日。在中秋節這天，人們會(huì )在月下觀(guān)賞祭拜，寄托個(gè)人情懷。
參考翻譯:
1.最圓:可直譯為roundest,但譯為fullest為最佳，月亮最圓的時(shí)候，即為滿(mǎn)月。
2.遵循著(zhù)…傳統:常用follow the tradition來(lái)表達。
3.祭:指祭祀，sacrifice不僅有犧牲的意思，還可以表示祭品，因此祭日、 祭月、祭祖都可以用 offer sacrifices tothe sun/moon/ancestor 表達。
4.到唐代，中秋節…這一節日更為盛行:這兩句話(huà)主語(yǔ)都為“中秋節”， 故可以用連接詞which將兩句話(huà)連接起來(lái)，從而避免重復。
5.寄托個(gè)人情懷:按照漢語(yǔ)的語(yǔ)義，“寄托”表達的意境比較深刻，翻譯時(shí)， 可理解為“表達”，即express; “情懷”可譯為thoughts and feelings。
